Thermal Imaging Cameras For Sale
With so many different thermal imaging cameras for sale, which one do you choose!!
There’s a whole lot of different criteria to consider when buying an infrared camera, so how do you pick the one that’s right for you?
Consider these basic criteria: What’s your budget, what do you need it for, is it going to be a full time business or part-time infrared business etc etc.
THEN…
What brand of camera to you buy?
There are a whole range of different companies who now have thermal imaging cameras for sale… and for every company that makes thermal cameras, there’s probably 100 distributors worldwide for each! Avoid the confusion and speak to the local distributor… they would be aware of the local market and have a good understanding of how to make the most out of the camera.
EG. There is no point buying a thermal imaging camera suited for detecting water leaks in outback Australia… you’ll have a limited market. In saying that, most infrared cameras for sale will find signs of any leak… but you get my drift right?
At the end of the day, you need to reduce your risk up front when starting the business. The types of IR cameras for sale that are $50,000+ are unlikely a wise choice for a first cameras. The thermal cameras in that price bracket are either for larger corporations, or very experience thermographers who have a purpose for them.
I won’t go on too much here about the specifics of which type too choose, as each of you will be different in your thinking and requirements. Talk to the companies who sell them for specifics.
